THE JUNIOR ASSOCIATE PROGRAM

WHAT IS THE JUNIOR ASSOCIATE ROLE?

  • A unique, structured and practically orientated 18 month course set within the worldwide group of Baker McVeigh practices.

  • Veterinarians will be mentored and trained in all aspects of equine sports medicine and surgery giving them a solid and broad foundation with which to then advance their careers hopefully within the Baker McVeigh family.

  • Veterinarians will spend time in a number of different Baker McVeigh practices during this period giving an opportunity to travel too.

  • There will be a unique work balance between hospital work, ambulatory time and ‘sales’ vetting giving the junior associate a wide array of experience in the business.

  • Veterinarians will be supported, tested and receive regular feedback with regard to their progress within this structured program.

  • All core skill sets applied by the course must be met prior to the vet advancing further within the Baker McVeigh group.
