PRACTICES / Cape Town, ZA

Baker McVeigh Cape was established in 2002 with the intention of being a sister practice to Baker and McVeigh Summerveld. With the exponential growth of the practice and the demand for specialist equine care, the Baker and McVeigh team overhauled the old Cape Veterinary practice in 2006, transforming it into the fully equipped hospital we see today.

Dr. David Timpson is now at the helm of the busy and progressive practice, which was originally spearheaded by Dr. McVeigh, Dr. Clements and Dr. Cameron. In addition, he is assisted by a great team of equine veterinarians, who have a wealth of post-graduate qualifications and experience.

The superb premises provides a comprehensive ambulatory service, and a fully equipped and accredited equine hospital to racehorses, thoroughbred studs, sport horses, polo ponies and the leisure horse community in Cape Town and the surrounding areas.
